Student-Faculty Show

To our visitors

Our next annual show of crafts and fine arts by current and recent students and faculty will take place in June 2011, showcasing woodworking, furniture, sewing, painting, drawing, children’s art and more. Refreshments, live music and good company round out the event.

To faculty and students

Our students and faculty produce excellent work each year. We love to show off your accomplishments, and the accomplishments of the school.

  • Let people see your artistry. Contribute something you have made to the show.
  • Faculty: Let students throughout the year know about the event and encourage them to participate.
  • Provide us with names of students you want to recommend.
  • Come represent our fine students and teachers to the public at large.

To make the show as strong as it can be, we need YOUR exhibition contribution, and your help publicizing the event.

Details

  • Contribute one piece of your work (or a small series if the work is very small).
  • The show will be coordinated by Emilie Chang. Please contact her with your questions.
  • We will need volunteers to help with installation, show details and clean-up. Please contact Emilie Chang to volunteer.
  • To help publicize this exhibit, we can provide postcards for you to mail to family, colleagues and friends. Let us know how many cards you would like, or just pick up a stack from the box next to the glass cabinet in the foyer.

Deadlines

  • To participate, you must fill out a Submission Form and return it in late May. We will post deadlines much closer to the date. Download a form here or find one on the outside of the Office door at the back of the wood shop.
  • Deliver your work – day before show, TBA
  • Event – TBA
  • Retrieve your work – day of show, 5-6:30pm
  • If these delivery/retrieval times don't work for you, let us know and we will work out alternate arrangements.
