Basic Woodworking I: Box

An introduction to the fundamentals of woodworking. Start with a given plan and work it through completion using hand and power tools. We will cover shop safety, an appreciation of the properties of wood, interpreting a plan, cutting and milling stock, and basic joinery, always stressing safe, effective use of tools.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Completion qualifies students for Woodworking Open Shop.
