Make the most of your exhibition opportunities and present your art in the best possible light. That means more sales and more recognition for your art. Both workshops start by reviewing your goals so you can match your expectations to your investment of time and energy. While your Open Studios committee markets the event as a whole, it's up to you to market yourself – make people remember you and want to come back for more. Come learn how. The workshops will be chock full of information but also open to discussion of participants' individual needs.

How to Host a Successful Open Studios is geared primarily toward new Open Studios participants.
Now What? Focusing Your Art Career is primarily for people who have already participated in Open Studios in the past.

Now What? Focusing Your Art Career

Perfect for any creative entrepreneur who wants to go to the next level. We will review the commitment required for a serious art career, the necessary tools, and how to market yourself at little or no cost. We will explore how to fortify your brand, and how to make your image consistent and unique. You’ll learn how to develop and grow your client base, making sure people recognize your work and come back for more. By the end of the workshop, you will have a comprehensive game plan for how to increase your business and sales.

Student Praise:

“I wanted to thank you again for the classes. The information you gave was undeniably useful. I have been thinking more consciously about what I do... everything from my studio time commitment to my ‘brand,’ and my choices are much more intentional now, plus I have better planning.  And this happened to be my most successful JPOS.... preparation, planning, and advertising (all of these thanks to you).”
