Make the most of your exhibition opportunities and present your art in the best possible light. That means more sales and more recognition for your art. Both workshops start by reviewing your goals so you can match your expectations to your investment of time and energy. While your Open Studios committee markets the event as a whole, it's up to you to market yourself – make people remember you and want to come back for more. Come learn how. The workshops will be chock full of information but also open to discussion of participants' individual needs.

How to Host a Successful Open Studios is geared primarily toward new Open Studios participants.
Now What? Focusing Your Art Career is primarily for people who have already participated in Open Studios in the past.

How to Host a Successful Open Studios

Geared to the Open Studio novice, but also helpful for artists who could use a boost, this workshop covers the tools you will need to present yourself professionally at Open Studios and other weekend art events, and how to make sure your participation is a success. Learn how to create a display that is visually appealing, and other ways to help you stand out from the crowd. The workshop will also cover how you can ensure Open Studios has a lasting impact on your art career through the use of collateral material (business cards, etc.) and by expanding your web presence through social media and other marketing options.
