Basic Photography: Taking Better Pictures
Understanding photography’s basics is essential to making great images. Start with basic photographic principles and camera controls and expand to composition, color theory and issues of visual perception.
Once you have taken this introductory class, follow it up with Intermediate Photography: Beyond Basics, diving deeper into photography and building your skills, your eye, your personal style, and your own photography portfolio. Continue through multiple semesters if you wish.
NOTE: In fall 2012 and winter 2013, this class takes place at UForge Gallery, 767 Centre St, just around the corner from the Eliot School.
