Boston Explorers Visit

Boston Explorers spent a week this February cutting and and drilling in the Eliot School wood shop. We’ve partnered with Boston Explorers for years, sending woodworking teachers into their summer program. This was their first ever Winter Vacation session, and we were excited to spend it with this vibrant group of kids. The children cut out complex shapes, each one unique. A butterfly, a monkey and a skull were just some of their creations. During the rest of the week, they sledded in Boston Common, built with Legos and had other adventures.

Boston Explorers gathers urban youth to explore Boston, inspire one another and engage their curiosity, emphasizing the power of play and creativity.
