Iz is a Cincinnati-born, Boston-based artist working through an interdisciplinary studio practice. Drawing on themes of complex interpersonal relationships, memory loss and relationship to place. Iz works with personal and family archives, found objects, and the deconstruction of images.  Her approach emerges from a desire to embrace conceptual experimentation and from a practical need to work with the materials that are around her.
