Juan Perez

Juan Perez has been creating his art for  many years, using a variety of mediums, including pen and ink drawings, watercolor, oils, and pastels. He draws his inspiration from Boston city life, architecture, landscape, and childhood memories of his native Dominican Republic. He teaches figure drawing. 

He attended the Arts Students League in New York, and graduated from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts Boston in 1973. He has been featured in numerous exhibitions over his career, his favorite being his solo “Hats on For Walter” at the Boston Brewery Complex in 2013. His work has also been published in the Boston Herald, The Boston Globe, and El Mundo. 

He has a plethora of teaching experience. In addition to his extensive background as an artist, Juan spent the majority of his career as a chef supervisor at Fenway Park.
